Seab Energy Ltd director, Sandra Sassow, was invited on December 3, 2009, to meet Prime Minister Gordon Brown at a small reception in advance of the Copenhagen Summit. The guests included representatives of companies creating the low-carbon economy from around the UK, Energy and Climate Change Secretary Ed Miliband, Lord Davies of Abersoch , Minister for Trade, Investment and Business and other notables. The Prime Minister spoke briefly of his goals for the country vis-a-vis energy efficiency and energy independence. Ms. Sassow brought the issues facing the implementation of distributed energy solutions to the Prime Minister’s attention, in a one on one conversation. All the guests were allowed to wander through the main rooms at Number 10, and invited to sit at the briefing room table to imagine the responsibility of making decisions that effect an entire country.
