SEaB Energy, one of the UK’s brightest innovators of waste-to-energy technology, just returned from an entrepreneurial trip to the USA and Canada. Backed by the hugely important Mayor of London’s International Business Programme, this Go To Grow mission was set to help the company further accelerate its growth in the North American market.
On the words of CEO Sandra Sassow “the trip has had immediate impact on our fund raising round, bringing new money to the table. In addition to funding, the new partners and press coverage are creating a wave of opportunities which can only help SEaB Energy to scale faster”.
Such was the success, SEaB was able to establish two new local Agents, that we are now delighted to announce: John Forcier for North East and Ken Smith for South and West USA.
John has 44 years of experience in the planning, design, permitting and construction of small through multi-million dollar municipal and private renewable energy, biogas, anaerobic digester, wastewater and composting projects throughout the eastern U.S.A. Ken has 35 years of operations management experience in a broad range of industries and environments. Sandra commented “we are very excited to have John and Ken in our group of partners. Their industry insight, knowledge and expertise will take SEaB forward at a crucial point in our growth, as we take the first steps into such a big and important market such as the USA”.
In addition to the wave of opportunities created by this mission, Sandra Sassow visited the sites for two future deployments in the State of Minnesota at a large university and a housing developer. Sandra met with the team that leads what will be SEaB Energy’s first in-building retrofit deployment in the USA, for a Fortune 50 Company in New York City.
