SEaB Energy are looking for a new Electrical Design Engineer.
Role
To design, develop and maintain electrical control systems and components to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety (within ATEX environment), reliability, quality and sustainability.
Main Responsibilities
» Identifying customer requirements.
» Designing systems and products.
» Reading/writing design specifications and technical drawings.
» Researching suitable solutions and estimating costs and timescales.
» Designing prototypes of products using two/three-dimensional design software
» Working to British (BS), European (EN) and other standards
» Liaising with others in the design team
» Liaising with clients and contractors
» Attending meetings on and off site
» Designing and conducting tests
» Recording, analysing and interpreting test data
» Proposing modifications and retesting products
» Qualifying the final product or system
» Preparing product documentation, writing reports and giving presentations
» Monitoring a product in use to improve on future design
» Electrical Load Analysis
» Loom drawings
General
» Adhere to all statutory regulations, and SEaB Energy policies and procedures.
» Positive and confident can do attitude.
» Protect at all times the confidentiality of information handled within the remit of the post.
» Any other duties as may be reasonably required by the Sales Team
» Interact pro-actively and positively and support all functions within the business.
» Maintain product awareness.

Experience and Training:
» Relevant degree.
» Electrical and Electronic Engineering, with 10+ years experience
» AutoCAD
» High level of computer literacy.
» Positive attitude, prepared to be challenged and grow in role.
