We’re Shortlisted at next week’s ADBA Industry Awards!

We've Been Shortlisted for two categories at the ADBA Industry Awards 2022!

It’s one week until the AD and Biogas Industry Awards 2022, hosted by the UK’s Anaerobic Digestion & Bioresources Association (ADBA). We’re delighted to be shortlisted for two award categories in this year’s ceremony.

The Anaerobic Digestion sector is one of the driving forces of the transition to a circular economy, and we are honored to be shortlisted for these awards, and attend as a team!

Sandra Sassow, the Co-Founder and CEO of SEaB Energy is representing our company for the “Women in Biogas” award. This award recognises the contribution made by women to the Anaerobic Digestion (AD) and biogas industry and Sandra is honoured to be on the shortlist! It is impossible not to highlight the power that female leaders have for this sector and how equal opportunities and recognition of female role models stimulate the development of the sector.  We are so excited to show the world how our powerful leader inspires SEaB’s team to innovate in the sustainable development space.

This award highlights the importance of powerful leaders in circular economy businesses. To strengthen and dynamize the sector, this ceremony promotes the dissemination of projects and research based on what the companies shortlisted are producing and developing. There is a way of mobilising business partnerships. We are all proud of our work and all the challenges we face. To be selected is to have, from now on, the recognition that we are contributing to a world not only of policies but of sustainable and balanced choices.

SEaB is on the shortlist for the “AD Pacesetter: Micro AD” award, which is a testament to the innovativeness of our Flexibuster and Muckbuster products. This highlights the importance of sustainable technology at all scales of performance. The IPCC 2022 report made clear the requirement of the green energy transition to limit global warming to 1.5 °C.

Our Flexibuster and Muckbuster products provide a fully automated, containerised on site solution for sustainable waste management. They convert organic waste to biogas, heat, fertiliser, and grey water and eliminate the need for waste transport to centralised facilities. SEaB’s technology is perfectly aligned with the EU and the UN’s goal, to stimulate sustainable food consumption to reduce food waste for efficient use of natural resources. Our product gives small scale waste producers like supermarkets, hospitals, companies and individual farms a better destination for biowaste.

We’re looking forward to finding out the results at the awards ceremony next week! View the full shortlist here.
