Sandra Sassow, CEO and founder of SeaB Energy, will be on a Trade Mission to Silicon Valley this week.
Delivered by Silicon Valley comes to the UK and exclusively for Female Founders, this is an opportunity to a new cohort of leading women in tech who are looking to scale their businesses and build new networks! SVC2UK is in collaboration with the British Consul General in San Francisco, Priya Guha, and Mayor’s International Business Programme, a new programme to help high growth companies in the life sciences, technology and urban sectors to expand into international markets. This is a unique opportunity to create ties with the US and expand the reach of UK women-led companies to the US market.
Bethany Koby of Technology Will Save Us, one of the female founders who participated in the 2014 mission commented “the trade mission reminded me to think bigger, act bigger and create bigger relationships’, whilst helping me to see what I needed from an investment perspective.”
The Mayor’s International Business programme is led by London & Partners, the Mayor’s official promotional company and part-funded by the European regional Development Fund, and supported by industry partners including BDO, KPMG, PA Consulting Group, Benoy and London Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It is the first programme of its kind, using peer-to-peer mentoring and private sector backing, to help London companies to scale up and internationalise.
