A small vertical-axis wind turbine can be used on sites with changeable wind direction. No need to re-orientate the WindBuster™, the patent-pending blades collect the maximum power from all wind directions and are quiet compared to ‘propeller-type’ wind turbines.
We offer a 5kW vertical-axis wind turbine with various mast heights. The WindBuster™ can be a stand-alone unit or part of a small wind farm. Easily connected to your electrical system, a WindBuster™ should provide up to 100% of a four bedroom family home’s electrical needs, in a strong wind location.
Planning permission is required for the WindBuster™ in the UK. Please note that WindBuster™ has been classified as a ‘Transition Product’ in the UK, under the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS). For further details, please go to the MCS website. Other countries may not require any planning or zoning applications. Please consult your local authority to verify the requirements.
